Hi and thanks for visiting. This site is home to my commercial and fine art portfolio, including portraits, architectural photography and landscapes. I have separate galleries for event photography and would be happy to refer you to them if you're interested.

By way of introduction, I have a degree in comparative religion from Dartmouth College and an M.F.A. in film from Chapman University. In addition to still photography, I have produced 20 short films, have written five (as yet unproduced) feature length screenplays, wrote a stage play for a cast of 4,000 and have worked as a web producer for Apple Computer.
I have lived in New York, Washington, D.C., Tokyo, Hong Kong, Taipei, San Francisco, Los Angeles and Seattle and am now based in Phoenix. In a previous life, I was an investment banker on Wall Street, specializing in mergers and acquisitions. I have also been an English teacher, a paralegal, a waiter, a lifeguard, a swimming coach and a busboy. I love to travel and have visited 50 countries in Africa, Asia, the Pacific and Europe, as well as all 50 states.
